I feel proud for having selected Mr.P.Chidambaram from our (SIVAGANGAI) constitution. My humble request to him is that please give exemption on tax for the investments on agriculture (including purchase of agricultural land like that of purchase of house). Also, better loan facilities and lesser interest for such investments. This is because most of the working class (salaried people)is looking for the purchase of house inorder to get tax benefits. This inturn causes convertion of agricultural fields into residential plots. Once such tax benefits are there for the investments on agricultural sector, people can also offer to promote it. I think this will fetch twin fold advantage by increasing the food production and reduction in the boom in the real estates sector. This is the need of the hour i feel........
