This budget is highly disappointing. It lacks in creativity and financial wisdom. Making the middle class and the salaried, especially the govt babus, who expect a hike in their salary from 6th pay commission, seems to be the sole objective behind the budget. FM has again caught into the trap of populist measure of waiving of loans, thus penalising the borrowers who pay in time and encouaging defaulters. While this is pro-rural, there is no other trust in the budget to boost agriculatural sector. No point in trumpting that we have a record high food grains production. This has to be seen along with the fact that, despite availability, we also have millions in rural areas, who cannot afford to buy foodgrains. Is this what we call as development? Where are we heeding to?? Making two wheelers affordable through duty cuts, is certainly not the need of the hour. This is sheer power politics, through pressure from two wheeler manufacturers to compete with the Nanos.
