I believe the airport in chennai is the best in the country in terms of efficiency, passenger convenience, approach from the city .Yes,It is a small airport compared to the airports in Mumbai and NewDelhi and the air traffic is also less compared to the other metropolitians.But its mostly hussle free and waiting time is very less for different activites like ticketing, security checks and baggage handling.Also for the fact that its summer time in chennai allthrough the year, fog and poor light related delays are minimal.
But considering the growth of the city, it requires immediate expansion before it gets messy like the other airports.
