What is the vote of confidence all about??...The Nuclear Deal or Inflation...
In the past week I have joked with every member of my family about betting on "Government" or "Interim Government" after Tuesday...In the end it hardly bothers me...we are never the deciders, the public is and always will be a mock audience, since politics was born...
In the past 18 yrs since I could understand, I have seen a lot of governments, as a child who listening to the elders trying to assimilate the "nautanki" going on to an adult who understands and watches albeit mockingly...
From the country's gold being sold by a PM to the nuclear deal, we have indeed come a long way...to the country in its infancy to having made a mark on the globe...yeah indeed a long way...
The government knows pretty well, that if they lose today, they can all well as pick out their seats on the opposition pews because inflation will be the issue and all that they have done wiped off the slate in the elections...in the end it doesnt matter to people like us...we dont vote, looking at the whole process because I for one dont believe in choosing idiots for my country, or for that matter the state also...and ideologies are bartered and swapped easily in politics...
The Congress has grown from the way of this country, to a mature party which has understood that they cant take us for granted...
Non Alignment might have been a very brave step in the gone past, but you cant live with that, especially with a power to kill each and every...With great power comes great responsibility (sounds like something out of Marvel Comics, and I think it is also) which obviously the BJP didnt realise when they decided to make us a Nuclear State...The treaty might be wrong or right, again depends on where you stand, but in the end it doesnt matter...we do have to take a side...something like light gray or dark gray...relativity is what we decide our choice...
The BJP obviously would like the treaty in different words, most probably synonyms of the words already used in it...and offcourse the impetus of being the government which made this country move ahead...
The Left doesnt care, as long as they make a lot of noise...someone wake them up and tell them that communism is dead, it cant even seem to survive in universities also where the blood runeth hot...they are a evil who deserves to be place where their vote doesnt count at all...at least in our Parliament...
If we have interim government in the next some hours, the only thing I can say is that inflation wont be solved...elections do cost a lot...a lot more than a simple Ayes and Nays in a vote of confidence...
