Thanks to all of you, ibnlive.com has grown into one of the most read news site. And we have been delivering a lot of new things to the visitors on ibnlive. Just in the last one month, we have launched 3 new sites on IBNLive.com ( F1, Cricket, Football), one desktop application for the football lovers, a brand new Cricket Scorecard in flash and numerous other enhancements to the website. This works wonderfully well from the user's point of view, and that is exactly what we at ibnlive.com always try to do: make your web-surfing experience on this site more and more exciting and make it better and easier to use. Last time, we added a flash ticker on top of the homepage, which was appreciated by almost everyone. So we thought of bringing in more innovation an effort to enhance readers' experience on a news page. This continuous pursuit for something better and something new has borne fruit again. Now, we have this little add-on on the article page (right below the image). This flash-based interface will enable you to see the top videos, top blogs, most-read articles, related articles and the top stories... all from one box. We hope you like this new add-on on our site. Do remember to add your feedback in the comments box and let us know what you expect...

Do not be rude to other users/authors: "You are an idiot" hardly qualifies as constructive debate or discussion. Same goes for questioning another's cultural/educational/religious background. It is what you have to say that counts more than where you come from. Ethnic slurs, personal insults, objectionable/abusive language: Not much to explain here. Yes, we do believe in the concept of freedom of expression, but we don't want to build a community that is best-known for its skill and variety in name calling. Criticism, when constructive and non-disruptive is always welcome: Criticize what we write by all means, but do substantiate what you are trying to say. It is more than okay to say what we have published is rubbish as long as you can elaborate why it is rubbish. It is not okay to leave it at "this is rubbish!" Let us know why you consider it to be so. Yes, it is important for us to know that. Comments with links...

EmailPrintBlog

What's new here!!! That's what all our readers look for these days and so we have decided to have a blog from our 'Web Team' in this space, so that our readers can get an update on what all new is happening on the site. Today we have carried out a major revamp of the 'your comment' space (must say, we are overwhelmed by the amazing response from you all and the huge volume of comments that you post on this site every day). Now, you will find the new system more interactive, easy to access and more organised. What's more, it provides for interactivity even among the readers. We have been observing that readers commenting on our stories also tend to comment on other's comments submitted previously by other readers -- at times it even turns into a very healthy debate, which often goes unnoticed by other readers. In the process, such interesting discussions/debates simply get lost in...
