Before elections, Deve Gouda might have earnestly prayed for a hung assembly in Karnataka. If his request were granted by the Almighty, he and his obedient son would have extracted a price of one hundred crores of rupess or more to extend their support to either Congress or BJP.We are ashamed that we had Devegouda, a man morally bankrupt, as Prime Minister, though fortunately for a short time.

And sir with all due respect, my limited knowledge tells me that the Gujarat election was fought on the development plank by the BJP and communal plank by the so called secular congress. So nothing wrong with a Gujarat Model victory. I wished BJP had got atleast 3 more seats on its own.

Your God seems to have smiled (some other God, not Buddha)today, but not to your satisfaction. Hung assemblies are passe. Now you have got one hundred and ten reasons to believe the other God.
Which God? Our Bangalore doesn't boast of a native God, the way Mumbai or Kolkata do. The silicon city has got only angels: digital angels. That's all.
You have to make do with the one hundred and ten men (I'm sorry. One hundred and seven men and three women!) and the other fortunate three who'll make the next government. So I want to say one thing. Your God didn't care to listen to you. Or rather my God heard what I was whispering. There wouldn't be another hung assembly, right?

The article was nice. Esp the line "If the JDS gets it, good heavens, your reputation will be in tatters " was really funny.
But I do not agree with your point of aspiring for a hung assembly. I pray that God really does some magic and gets one party to power. BJP deserves a chance this time.....

This is one of the worst and sarcastic blog I have ever read. Plz don't make fun of this very important election for Karnataka. Just bcoz none of the parties have proven to us their worth doesn't mean that no one should get absolute majority. Bcoz we saw what happened to Karnataka with coalition politics. And by the way u spoke about surveys, plz don't base ur opinion about stability on tht, bcoz many of them surveyed will not even vote, this is the main drawback of these surveys. So please think twice before u write next its no 20-20 cricket its all about the future of the state and a hope for improvement in the declining quality of infrastructure of Bangalore. Which can be at least be addressed by a govt with absolute majority. Any ways politicians have never valued our votes once they have been casted but that should not stop us from voting for a stable govt. Hope ur next post will be better than this senseless post of yours

i appreciate your concern towards the improvement of karnataka, but whatever the result of this election we are going to get a government which would be least bothered about karnataka and will be self centered, power hungry. Iam gradually losing faith in the democratic set up. i might sound pessimistic but the performance of successive governments has shattered my optimism
