Is the Congress party a dictatorial party? That's the question that has been troubling me lately. For quite some time now, Indian politics has literally found itself divided along two poles. The so-called secular brigade led by the Congress and... Read The Article
The Congress regime from Indira"s Era has always been a dictator. So alsothe other so called secular parties. Atleast in BJP there was some democracy left to discuss and air but then "You Media People have always got something or other averse" and do not see the BJP in the same light as you are eyeing Congress. The reason is not known. I have been watching all the Media and this is my considered opinion. If BJP tires to interfere with the autonomy, the Whole Bunch of Media is on BJP and when the very same thing is happening in UPA (You know well what I am referring to) you and the other Champions of Public Causes keeps quiet. I do not know why? Now think about it.

With all the right background and all the sins of the Congress, one cannot ignore the deed of Mulayam and the fact that his govt is illegal. Is there no mechanism that such govts are st. away dismissed, if nobody else then by Supreme court or the President?

nice article mr chaubey I would not comment on the real issue i.e if Sonia gandhi is a dictator since the answer is obvious and every one in this world knows that. What is worth noting is your perception about the BJP when u say is "perceived to be communal" and the others as "so-called secular brigade" if the intellect brigade starts visualising th efacts as they are and try to correct the masses i thing the country stands a chance to recover from the diseases its suffering from.
on the second thought SONIA GANDHI IS NOT A DICTATOR BUT A DYNASTIC RULER u know the difference and hope your next article would cover that

An EXCELLENT article. Well the point is that till the time slavishly sycophant people like Ajit Jogi(a Cong leader from Madhya Pradesh) who once said on NDTV India - " Ek hi Darwazaa hai jahaan 100 crore hindustaniyon ko nyay milta hai aur woh hai 10 Janpath ka darwazaa", are there, this country will remain the personal property of Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul gandhi.

True, the congress party, under the leadership of sonia gandhi is bent upon the sobataging the democratic process in india, despite the unhappyness of some good old congress men.Butthey are helpless. What better proof is required than the claim of party in uttarkhand claiming to form govt with 21 mLAs even though the people of the state clearly rejected the party.

The analysis given by Mr. Chaubey is apt in every sense of its intention, but a lot remains to be analysed from wat has been done here. I, as an honest citizen of the largest democracy of the world, am not a congress-lover exactly, but dont you think that our country's politics is probably one of the most corrupt in this world? I mean, what about all those kick-backs of the cumulative multi-billion rupee deals which shoot up right from the grass root level to the apex one. Agreed Ms. Gandhi is on a tirade against Mr. Singh & Co., but then thats the name of the game in the politics of our country. Infact, why pick out only politicians? Every average individual, when shot-at (which mulayam singh did by pulling the support at the 11th hour), will respond; and if you have the power in your hands (which Ms. Gandhi has ample of), well, you better be beware. I dont see anything moral in what she's doing, but at the same time I see everything practical in her intentions because if she doesnt hit back, then Amar Singh has the ability and capabilty to hit where it'll hurt the most.

Good analysis..but is congress is the only dictatorial party & Sonia the only politician being a dictator. Emergency was the darkest period in our post independent history & congress is responsible for the same. But what about the unofficial banning of movies by extraconstitutional authorities? Is beating of students in college campus in the name of morality is democratic? Is not butchering of innocent victims by goons aided by official machinery is worser than the emergency excesses? The author seems to overplay to justify his views.

This is a very good article. It is obvious that the Congress party has not learned the bitter lessons from the past. The Indian voters have been smart and will hopefully deliver a strong verdict against the Congress at the next general elections.
