What is that you like the most on a cricket field? A tearaway fast bowler aka Shoaib Akhtar or Bret Lee, steaming in hard, hurling deliveries to Sachin Tendulkar or A sanath Jayasuriya, and then in this battle of talent,... Read The Article
I really do not think that in this matter some one should write a big blog. I think it absolutely depends on the Channel also to decide that who will be the host for their shows.
And now a day it really becomes a fashion, to show some glamour’s or beautiful woman to be the part of the show and probably mandira has been taken as a host of the cricket series, keeping this view thing in mind. As now a days it is about entertainment also along with cricket.

Mind blowing comments! They say that they want indian women to see the cricket thats why mandira is there.I think it is ruubish(boycott). Let us for a moment accept her but than also what in the world compelled them to bring a tarot reader ,a crystal ball thing and above them rohit roy. What does he knw about ckt leaveAside his acting.Absolutely crap.I agree with Mr.Chaubey on his remarks on Mr. Bhogale.HEs a kind of guy who inspite of not playing a single sport internationally has a deep knowledge of everything.Indians are not fond of watching some middle aged cleavages. We've had enough of this.

i agree with mr bhupinder on his view point, actually spesking the people in entrrtainment think glamour is a substitute for everything from sense to creativity, mandira bedi is making bucks thanks to the same equation, but i personally believe that i and offcourse we would love to have a harsha bhogle for the job,for brain will always score over beauty.

True Sir, the DAL(read cricket) is enjoyable without the tadka(read MAndira). But what harm is there if we have a spicy tadka with the DAL? cricket is not going to trivalise. The connoiseur of cricket will be the same and dillentate will be the same again. Cricket will be the religion of India and Devtas will be devtaas, no matter how many MENKAs r comming to add the spice. Cricket wont be trivalise.

Mandira adds value (for those who see value in it ) with her low neck attires which is carefully selected to expose the maximum possible on live national television. Cricket telecast has stooped to displaying cleavages of Mandira !!!!!
Thats exactly her role there. And abt her talking cricketing nonsense ..btw who cares what she says ..!!!
She is there only to show her ..... She knows that , SET MAX producer knows that ,everyone present in the panel know that, and we viewers know that !!

I dont fully agree with this, Look Everyone should accept the fact, that men like to look at beautiful women.. If you dont, well ahem... I dont mind her being there cause lets face the facts:
1. She is prettier to look at than Sidhu 2. You wont get a headache listening to her as you would from listening to sidhu. 3. Your spoken english wont be degraded to Rs 5 roadside english as it would if you watch sidhu
The other point I want to make is there are so many "know it all" commentators who were third rate players in their heyday, (I am not talking about the legends here) I dont like these guys coming on TV and criticising players, you never could play well in your day so how could you comment on players with better records than you.
Look personally I dont find her offensive, in fact the only complaint I would have is Couldnt they find a more beautiful women than her.. come on there are so many models.. Look in my book cricket is numero uno, and then women is numero two, so we get both of them,, hey I am happy..

Arrey Bhupinder ji, U already have the answer in your own writeup, where U seem to be in dilemma! Although we have our routine dal can we not have the Tadka in it, whenever our palate feels like? So Mrs. Bedi is the same tadka. In India both cricket and popular people are worshipped(cinema, politics, sportpersons etc.) and hence the ECLECTIC combination. And why do we always have to see the people from rest of the world as to what are they doing, like we do in the case of films, debating everyear about the Oscar awards? The Westindian young woman is good in her own style. May be some journalist blogger like you in Westindies must be writing the same thing about the tadka'cious' Mrs.Bedi, belittling his compatriot!!
