Advani's New Yatra

So, the Yatra man is at it again - doing what he knows best. Crisscrossing the length and breadth of the country in an air-conditioned bus, re-modelled as a rath. But that's where the trouble begins. LK Advani today is...

s.vishnu sharmaa Be it BJP or Congress both are like the two sides of the same coin. One is no different from the other. Be it rath yathra or rai bareli it's all the same political gimmick.

vicky I really don't understand why (media) people are so harsh to Mr. Advani. It was the media who made him a scapegoat by blowing things out of proportion during his Pak visit. He never said that Pakistan is/was secular .He quoted the comments made by Jinnah and said that those comments in our country mean "secular".
It is simple politics that he wants draw some attention away from his own party's recent debacles and outright indiscipline and infighting. The yatra is to draw the public's attention to recent Congress's wrongdoings.
The very starting note of Mr.Bhupendra Chaubey that should his yatra be called rath yatra or bus yatra is really very satirical and it echoes an outright contempt and loathe .He needs to be given the respect he deserves and that to not for "INDIA SHINING" but without whom Congress would never rectify it's mistakes...Only BJP is a viable alternative to Congress and BJP without Advani I think is not complete or even half full.
So let the veteran try his chances of reviving his party from the chaos it is into after the lok sabha elections.

more Hiren Bafna Sir everybody seems to be talking about How Advani is not getting support from within his parivar why are you not really talking the Monarchy like attitude and tendency of COngres Party? Latest being the DRAMA of Resignation. Why are you not talking about the expenses which are being carried out in the name elections? Who is paying for these MPs convenience? Somebody gets up and says I dont want to be an MP I want to be MLA and resigns. Then they have the Byelection. Who pays for it? The beggest danger to Indian state itself is COngress party and its policies. They fooled all for more than 45 years and achieved what, DIRE POVERTY, BAD DIVIDED STATE ON COMMUNA L LINES. It is time to ask for the payback from the Congress party, Left parties. They are not secular that is the reason they keep saying Secular secular again and again. Advani is a great leader and is real chapin of Free economy. What happens to him in political terms is a History. Who are we to judge? But we can fight the real danger facing our Country that is Congress party itself.

ravi srinivas I have seen ur kind of journalism. Very partial towards the madam & her hounches. I think some of the channels like yours r being sponsored by some big fish of the other side. The way u r carrying stories on the yatra & never see any reason for the good of our country let the inner party squabbles of BJP be left out but the way congress is playing around with democracy as also the increase of corruption as well as insecurity has to be highlighted to the public. The most important factor appeasement of minorities. You have carried a programme on the plight of minorities except for the words & rhetoric of the congress what has the party done for these people we need to know.Let the yatra go ahead & nail the congress on all of the above problems of india.Lets fight for better governance & good polity.Hope you publish my second view as you scuttled my first one

Ajith Nair The divide is very clear- its almost like the past and the present, not co-existing but compromising. Which is why there are two raths from two different directions. This is ample indication of the state of things within the party.

bhushan pawar .. LAL KRISHNA ADVANI WILL always be the man who changed the face of indian politics forever.....he will always be the man who freed our great country from the shackles of the congress party and its dynastic tamasha....His RAM RATH YATRA of 1991 was a epoch making event, probably one of the most significant in the history of india........i think he has already made history and another million failed yatras will make no difference to the impact he has had on history.....and if journalist like u cut your ignorance and peruse through the BJP ideology ,u will realize its only about nation building and man building....and its not advani but journaslists like you who are really confused....JAI-HIND-JAI-JAWAN

more R.K.Datta Let us see how these Yatras are taken by people. I believe the days of "stunts" are over. Indian public is rising above "Hindutva politics" of BJP.
I believe LKA has lost people's support by backing Narendra Modi, who certainly does not have a good image.
Narendra Modi and internal power struggle and lust for good life will bring further down fall. Their behavior in Parliament is not liked by an average Indian

more ravi Let that poor old man keep himself busy - ! why do u write such articles on him yaar ?
I haven't forgotten that picture where Advani was wearing a 'mukut' and that very day i knew - he was never meant to wear the real crown !
All i am worried about is the hope that he will not misguide the illiterate people of our country into another Ayodhya or the genocide of Gujrat - even if he does, I hope the government should be able to put him behind the bars this time and close his sorry chapter for ever.

Mohit Malano When Mr. Advani goes ahead with this yatra he has to think about the future of not only himself but the party as a whole. When the BJP came to pwer it was the RSS cardre which came to the aid of him and the party resulting in huge mobilisation of workers. After Pakistan the so called iron man of Indian politics(after Sardar of course) the RSS seem to have washed their hands from their poster boy.As of right now i can see that the BJP has lost the pulse of the people they want the MPs to work for their constituency(or atleast show that they work) not take out a rath and try to show how from a fiery politican he has changed his ways.
Is the country showing the same type of enthuasim like it did in 1990? I think the BJP think tank has to go back to the grass roots than think when they are coming back to power
