Dada is no more a dada

What's the most enduring image of Sourav Gangluy? Him standing at the Lords balcony, waiving his shirt before millions of TV viewers all across the world or him standing at short mid wicket chewing his nails, or him...

Nitin I dont care what the rest of the India think about him but he is my Hero & he will be always be my Hero for showing his killer instinct on the Field after kapil dev.Rahul Dravid does not have any instinct, forget about killer. I fear what will happen to Rahul & Greg when Dalmiya Camp returns to the power of BCCI.

RK It's ironic that Ganguly is being shown the door in the name of youth culture when he was the pioneer in promoting youth culture in the Indian cricket team.
For what he has done for Indian cricket, Dada definitely deserved another chance.

vishwanath c really this is proving to be a very sad end to a very successful story as a great captain and batsman.bhupen is right when he says that there will be comments both for and against ganguly.but let us as ganguly fans remember his contributions to indian cricket

nitesh absolutely true .
whatever happens from now on to dada's carrer, India can never forget the contribution he has given to Indian as well as World's cricket. there are many players who can be said as dada's discovery for example harbhajan singh.
this solid foundation of this MEN IN BLUE team is put by dada . hats off to him. but as they say " never become complacent" ....may be dada's fate teaches us all a lesson ..." in life respect what you have acheived but never try to say that hey, i have given so and so this much now i can relax...because life is one hell of a thing"....

Bobby DADA - who scares of FAST bowling and GREEN tops is no more a DADA. His approach to life and cricket looks like a jokers approach.

He shuld concentrate on his business deals now and pack his boots. No company is going to pick him in their advertisement based on his foul crying and sentimental views of Bengali public and nonsense politicians.

Stay home, rest in life. We have millions of cricketers who are unsung heroes to take care of indian Cricket.

Shubhendu Saurav Ganguly is indeed one of the great thinkers of teh game but you cannot go on in team, with only that credit to yourself. But what is more imporatnt is the way and teh treatment he was meted out by BCCI and specially the selectors. All those contradicting staments, useless comments by the manager and an over dominating coach. We certainly dont know how to say a goodbye to a great sportsman. We have to change it. Today, Sachin is getting a fine treatment but i am sure when the dalmiya camp returns, they would bid him the same farewell as meted to Saurav. Indian Cricket would go no where like this. We need to respect the greats.

manoharan Since Rahul himself has termed him GOD its fine. GOD does not bother about being in the team or outside it He will always support it from everywhere. So let every fan of GOD be happy and proceed for the good of Indian Team.

R.K.Datta There is no point asking Sourav bashers see logic or be civil. They have been conditioned by media,e.g. NDTV had cartoon on Sourav at Lords then washing is coloured clothing like Dhobi. I not if it did make any one laugh but it CERTAINLY reflected the upbringing of the person who conceived this.
What can one expect from a Society where people who shot Jessica Lal got away with being punished? Where you have people like Zahira Sheikh and people who paid her money to change her statement.
Show me a ONE SINGLE INSTANCE IN INTERNATIONAL CRICKET THAT VICE CAPTAIN DESERTS THE TEAM AND SKIPPER TO GO TO NEXT DESTINATION WITH COACH AND 3 CRONIES. Drop Sourav by all MEANS but DO NOT SUPPORT SUCH BACK STABING.
People are all following what Greg Chappell says or Kiran More says. BUT THEY STILL HAVE NOT DONE ANY THING. "Bhavna se kartabya uncha hai". Let them first do it and they yap.
Don't worry Sourav bashers - Sourav fans will take care of him. Wait forthe day - when all these guys pay for their MISDEEDS. It may not be too long.Take a print and keep it.
