Is Sonia Gandhi a dictator?

Is the Congress party a dictatorial party? That's the question that has been troubling me lately. For quite some time now, Indian politics has literally found itself divided along two poles. The so-called secular brigade led by the Congress and...

Bibek Kumar Bardhan Yes She is but not a self made one. She is a dictator for the people by the people. Its a shame on the stalwarts of various deciplines to wait for their Leader (whome they have given a status equal to Mother Marry) to direct them to reduce petrol & Diesel Prices.

vijay balaji If only she was fifty percent as clever as Indira..... She is no doubt showing her vengent ful and dictatorial part of her mind. Is she making a bigger space for her or rahul? Her government in andra is gunning newspaper barons; she is gunning for bachan family. Her associate DMK is using IT department as if it is their home. She loses civic polls in maharastra, state polls in punjab etc but nothing seems to affect her. Prices are the highest. Law and order is worsening, foreign affairs is a joke now. Extremism is also an partner now. God please save this country. Well it is time for my pizza

CK I think what Bhupendra has brought out is something BJP should have.
BJP does not have people who are able to rightly express in media whether in any media debate or simple statement
Most of the damage to BJP happens because of this
I believe people like Bhupendra should help BJP in forming the statements and adopting the stance in media

Raj Kudos to Bhupendra for having written what other journo's normally not write especially where it concerns this LADY and HER FAMILY. Also a word for the editor and CNN-IBN for having put this on their website for when you compare other national dailies they just tend to write what this LADY or her croonies tend to vomit rather than giving their own description of the facts.

SADly Indian Most of you are saying that Sonia Gandhi is at fault etc. Well the fact is the whole of Congress is a big curse on India they have been ruling us for decades and hence they have billions of crores of rupess of tax payers wealth at their disposal for spending in the elections and buying the dirty polticians who have come to power to get majority. This is a never ending game as every time they come to power they get more money to buy votes and seats and for government. Hence we can never do anything about why Sonia it could be anybody at that place controlling those huge money all these politicians will lick the feet and surrender. So the fact is we really CANT DO ANYTHING about it unless their accounts are frozen and the amount in the accounts are accounted in the budget. I am sure they have enough wealth to support India Budget for atleast two years :-(

Nag Sonia is a paper tiger. Did she win a single election? 2004 Lok Sabha election 'victory' is because TDP lost in AP and DMK was aligned with Congress. BJP strength was intact except for two allies from these states - net loss - around 40+ seats. Sycophants made us to believe 'invincibility' of Sonia. Did they win single election after 2004 except Assam which was fought on minority and illegal migrants. Congress cannot get seats in UP Municipal polls but they aspire to be CM? Media is always projects Congress in first position. The days of Congress are numbered. After next elections, where will Sonia be?

Brijesh Batra This is one of those eye-openers which we indians do not get to read often. Thanks to people like bhupendra, indian media has some of those daring characters who can expose the nitty-gritties of indian politics. Question is, Do we, indians, have a choice ?

Srimatesh Kudos to Bhupendra for the article. Time and again we are fed with the 'sacrifice of the Gandhi family' theory. Is it not ridiculous to say that the Indira Gandhi sacrificed her life for the country when she was assasinated for initiating operation bluestar which was ill-advised. Rajiv Gandhi paid with his life for sending the indian armed forces (IPKF) to tame the LTTE which was raised by the Indian Govt. under Indira Gandhi in an attempt to act superpower. All of us know the drama of sacrificing the PMs position by Sonia Gandhi. Do these theorists have an explanation on how the Shimla agreement was arrived at when India was in a better position to push the Kashmir issue decisively with 3000 POWs from Pakistan? Is there anything to be said about Sanjay Gandhi? Going beyond the Gandhi family, we have the 'great statesman' Nehru who royally goofed up on the reorganisation of states. He took upon himself to get Kashmir, Hyderabad, Bhopal and Goa to be part of India. And everywhere there was force required to get it done under extreme circumstances. While 252 princely states were convinced, cajoled to sign the instrument of accession under Sardar Patel's stewardship, Nehru bungled on each of the states he had taken upon himself. It is time the countrymen recognise the selfish, egoistic, immature way of conducting politics of the Nehru-Gandhi family and ensure they are out of reckoning by miles by isolating them politically. Does anyone know what is the net worth of the 'first family' of indian politics which has sacrificed for the country for over 4 generations?

Saurabh What else can one expect from a foreigner? Sonia feels no obligation to do what is good for India. She's in politics to reap profits for herself.
