Is the Congress party a dictatorial party? That's the question that has been troubling me lately. For quite some time now, Indian politics has literally found itself divided along two poles. The so-called secular brigade led by the Congress and... Read The Article
Good article. After reading your previous posts I am surprised that you have written this. You brought out some important points however.
There are some more reasons I think she is a dictator. There is just no transparency in the way the UPA functions and they have severely compromised on national security:
1. The Congress is doing some behind the curtains deal with Pakistan on Kashmir. The facts are not made public.
2. A Congress leader's son was caught selling defence secrets to foreign countries not too long ago. No more information.
3. On terrorism front they have repealed POTA and brought in IMDT through constitutional amendment. Making more infiltration possible and the job of security agencies difficult. All for enriching their vote bank.
4. The fact that terrorists have invested in stock market was known to govt but such vital information was kept hidden from the media. security advisor Narayanan brought it out much later.
5. Recently the CBI did not communicate Quattrochi arrest for 17 days and didn't even mention it in court.
6. It is still not made public who in the government allowed the defreezing of Quattrochi's accounts.
7. In case of Nuclear deal it is not known whether the concerns will be addressed. all we have are assurances of the PM.
I think the sooner we get rid of UPA the better for the country and its security.

Nice article, rightly focuses the agenda which congress has in its mind. Mulayam singh is no saint, but the manner in which the congress is pursing its single point agenda in applying President's rule in Uttar Pradesh. The socalled saint of Congress party is sparing no cost to dismiss Mulayam singh Yadav to teach him a lesson. I guess congress in due time will learn the lesson that it cant take the people for granted.
