It is a smart marketing ploy by SET MAX of rebranding cricket. By bringing in mandira they ahve brough the common Indian woman to the idiot box. While she may not know much about cricket, she asks the kind of questions which an ordinary non playing person would ask, wherein lies the empahy. And of course she adds charm to the program with her dazzling smile. as trhey say there are no free lunches, so is no free candy. haven't we all noticed the kinds of advertisements that are being aired on Set max targetting the housewives.

Sir, i really agree with you..The Programme XTRA INNINGS has gone a beyond the word Xtra...I,too feel that why do we need awkwardly dressed Mandira who never lets others to talk,Rahit Roy who doesnt know "A" OF cricket.. In short i think the Gentlemen game is no more a Gentlemen's instead its seems more of Businessmen's Game

absolutely..take mandira out of the show and get someone with some cricketing sense to talk to the greats like tony greig, ian chappel etc. because of the contracts going to setmax we are missing the great harsh bogle. its high time we remove mandira from the expert panel

dear Sir, I still remember the days i woke up so early to hear Harsha Bhogle's pre match show during india tour of Newzealand and Australia.Now can anyone argue against the class of espnstar and their experts,now,what the hell this SETMAX is doing with such highly previlidged telecast rights,....Very poor show diluting and polluting cricket.

I can't understand why do u have such an issue with Mandira. It's like 'hate mandira' attitude has again turned fashionable just as it had during the last world cup. Mr. Chaubey does not like to accept that Mandira with her no knowledge of cricket made the commoners understand how a silly point is different from a gully.
Let her remain there do add a little tadka in the dal.

True cricket lovers can never accept such mediocre commentary. If it was not for Charu ( he himself is not compared to the likes of Harsha and John Dykes ), who corrects the mistakes that Mandira makes, the show would have looked an utter stupidity.
