It's just not cricket

What is that you like the most on a cricket field? A tearaway fast bowler aka Shoaib Akhtar or Bret Lee, steaming in hard, hurling deliveries to Sachin Tendulkar or A sanath Jayasuriya, and then in this battle of talent,...

T P Rajmanohar Dear Bhupendra Chaubey,
I totally agree with you. She is only a good ornamental piece. When she speaks about cricket it is like a person from Mars talking about the Earth. The most uncomfortable moments are when she talks about cricket. It makes me squirm in my seat.
She is more comfortable talking about modelling or movies.
Regards
Rajmanohar

pooja well said sir, mandira is noting on that show, the channel is keeping her for T.R.Ps with the designer wares . she barely can discuss anything about cricket. no doubt she shows emotions when india plays but this is a tournament of 10 nations playing. let her comment with other greats from the real ground she will know what commentary is all about in cricket. even the female sports anchors from news channels will be far better in her place.

cheers

S.Manohar I totally agree with u Bupendra. It is ridiculous to put some random hot(?) personality in the midst of an expert pannel and bug the entire audience.I don't know why it is so necessary to push a female there. You can see that she is totally out of place there. She has no intelligent comments/analysis to offer,I don't see the point of her being there. If I want to see some good looking face I am free to switch channels.I only pray to god that this stupid trend does'nt catch on.
One more question that I have is why is ICC giving all it's contracts to SET-MAX??ESPN-STAR/TEN SPORTS is certainly a much better option.

more Manoj Phoke I totally disagree with u Bhupi
I mean look at mandira, she is only the female host in India. She is an aspiration to many of our young girls trying to get into this field.
many of the people love mandira.
I agree she is not the best but we have to start from some point or the other.
She looks oweosome and somethimes it seem to be ,She is Rose in bunch of thones

Parag 1. Mandira & Harsha both do the similar jobs [cordinating the experts from corss-locations]

2. Both of them are not real experts on cricket.

3. IF AT ALL YOU WANT ANYONE OUT OF THERE, IT MUST BE ROHIT ROY.

more kishor s I totally disagree with you.Mandira is there not
to give her expert comment. There are other ex-cricketers to give their express comments. Its unfair to compare her with Harsha bhogale.Mandira represent a mad indian cricket fan. When india wins she celebrates & when india loose she had shown the emotions like comman cricket fan.Sometimes u get bored after hearing too many experts comment so she is there to add spice to the show.Sony has tried to bring entertainment into cricket. In india people are mad about cricket & bollywood/Tellywood.So its
begining of new era & other cricket channels will
also follow the same route

sanjay negi Bhupi...

Thats a valid point....and simply speaking there is no point of having the so called bomb shell in the idiot box....
and by the way wat about u ppl in the media..u ppl also most of the times speaks with half cooked..half baked information.........and just chatter on the tv like any thing.

cheers
