sangeeta kaushik hope this lotus will flourish not only in the bjp's workshops but also in the hearts of each and every individual...the faith which people have reflected in them by giving a stable government have given the opportunity not just to frame the opinions and craven excuses but to do something!!!

prateek sibal In yet another crucial state elections the saffron party has emerged victorious.
With the blossom of the lotus in bangalore the BJB has turned yet another thorn in its path to Delhi into a sagacious petal nurturing the lotus destined to bloom in the 2009 Lok Sabha Elections.the party's carefully calculated moves to checkmate the congress and the so called "kingmaker" Deve Gowda's JD(s) have paved its way to the Vidhan sabha. Now only time will testify if it can deliver upto the expectations of the kanaddigas.

Pralhad For once my vote counted and it is a welcome change. CONGRATULATIONS. Dear CM, Here are a few things you must deliver, How you deliver is your next problem? If you do these things personally I belive Shri LK Advani ji will definitely be our PM.#1. Quickly address infrastructure hurdles of Bangalore. Give your IDENTITY to is just like what Narendra Modi, Chandra Babu Naidu and S M Krishna ji did in the past. Deliver it such that the infrastructure is AHEAD OF TIMES just like how Ramakrishna Hegde gave us the Majestic City Bus Stand. #2. Karnataka does not end with out skirts of Bangalore - Please COMPLETE the golden Quadrilateral, CONNECT Bijapur to Gadag railway line. #3. UPLIFT all the people with your projects - We need Jobs, water (not in bottels), food and housing. There is lot we can do. INVOLVE the young generation. #4. BELIVE that all this is possible and it will be done because we BELIVE in you. THANK YOU my CM Yeddyurappa.

prakash Bangaloreans dont have the petitions, two wheelers ride their bikes on the footpath and create prolem for pedestrians. Only those who have votd in the election have the rights to expect something frm the goverment. They hav ignored their primery duty of voting and when you dont do your duty how can you expct frm others. i think bangloreans can cheers as there is party which will be giving its best to fulfil the wishes of every kannadigas and residents of karnataka. i think we consider everybody who resides here are safe and secure not like Maharastra. Cheers to new Govt.

shanthesh The main problem of Bangalore is that Around 30% of people who stay here from more than 5 years also dont feel that they are part of Bangalore

Instead of Looking at the real problems of India,Again around 25% of Bangalore students Just think about night life and nothing else..

People are always ready to blame government for traffic issues. But People are patient enough to waitin long traffic for about an hour But dont have patience to stand in queue for about ten minutes to go out and vote..(Only 45% voter turout in Bangalore CIty)

So the Bangaloreans dont have any right to question government's rule as more than half of them have not voted

sandesh This blog is incomplete.
At the first place you made mistake of going to Brigade raod to understand Karnataka.
Only 44% of bangaloreans voted this time indicating clear detachment from deciding the fuuture of Banglore and karnataka.
No matter which political party comes into power , all will try to change the Banglore.
Do we want Banglore to be like California or singapore or gujarat.
We should create our own model. Not to change it to anything else.
Only we need to see.

Raghav Very Hearty Congratulations to BJP and Yediyurappa. I was so glued to the TV, I don't even watch Cricket matches with so much of eagerness. This is a humble message to BJP. "Pls ensure good governance. Focus both on Urban and Rural Development coz we would like to see you win all the elections going forward".

Balaji A strong supporter of BJP in Karnataka may now call BJP as "Bangalore Janata Party". I hope BJP will work towards the development of Karnataka as a whole and not merely Bangalore - a mistake done by the previous governments.

Tamilnadu is the only state now in South India, which has a minority coalition government and also a regional party at helm.

Pranav It is indeed a positive sign for Karnataka that it has now got a single party government. But the BJP now has to deliver on its poll promises and has to prove that the clear cut mandate in its favour, first of its kind in the south, was not a fluke.Especially after the political flip flops in the last 4 years, expectations are high from Mr.Yeddyurappa and his government. At the end of the day, development is what the common man expects from the new government.

RS The trimph of BJP will give boost to the progress of the state, which unfortunately was hindered due to political unstablity. At least for next 5 years the state can decide it's progress without blackmailing from political alliances unlike central government.

It would be nice if we have stable government from a single party in center, which can decide on critical issues without losing time.

All the very best to this government and hope if we can get the stable government in center too in comming election. Ameen!!
