Mr.Narayana Murthy makes a Great human being but not a Great President.

If an Internationaly well known personality like Mr. Narayana Murthy, doesn't understand the meaning of patriotic feeling, how such a person can be recommended for the presidential post - which is treated to be the Highest Administrative position of Indian Republic.
I agree that, because of Mr. Narayana murthy, Indian unemployment is solved to an extend, but it doesn't mean such a person is empowered or achieved the status to sit in the chair of Presidentship. If it is, then the first person would have got the privilege - to Late Dhirubhai Ambani - who can be treated as the ABC of the rise of Indian Economy.
Respect to the National Antham - is to be built up in the blood itself of every Indian. An educated person, A wellknown entrepruner feels, it is embarassment, what way such a person deserves the respects. To day every nation feels proud of their flag and songs and trains its citizen to say - "Nation first and then I" - where us Mr. Murthy like persons say that it is embarassment - this culture doesn't demand respect nor not to be encouraged.
As rightly said, What best action / punishment can be awarded to a common man, the same in its worst side to be given to Mr. narayan murthy too.

We need persons like Mr.Narayan Moorthy to actively participate in Indian politics and occupy prominent positions in our country. It is high time that Indian politics be freed from the musclemen who manages to get elected in the parliament and does not contribute in any way for upliftment of the country and the masses, who live below the poverty line.No sane person in the country will doubt the nationalism of Mr.Narayan Moorthy. The controversy about National Anthem was probably an accident without any intention of Mr.Moorthy to downgrade the spirit of the National Anthem. poverty

I myself being a grat admirer of MR.NRN, it surprises me when I ask me a question.. can NRN play a active role in Indian politics..? The answer would be a straight No. He is more succesfull as a capitalist satisfying foreign Clients and by preparing a talent pool from whom he can win and years Millions of dollar projects. But what Gandhi says about a Good politician is that a person can become a Good politician when he feels the hunger when a poorman is hungry. This thought made Gandhi to restrain himself as the poorest of the poor. In this context Mr NRN has given more priority to some 100 foreigners in his Mysore campus by not allowing to sing the National Anthem. I wonder whether Mt NRN remembers our Anthem....?

Despite all justifications by the Pro-Murthy's flock in endorsing the embarassing comments of NRM ON National Anthem, the prospective President 'EMBARASSED' the nation,in an attempt to de-embarass his foreign employees. At the same time,NRM apologised for his comments. So,there is no need for such a hue n cry over this issue.

The definition of nationalism is different. That guy have done so good by giving as new image to our country for which we can stand. Those are our representative are out there they don't even bother to stand when natinal anthem is being played. No takes that issue but if a person like NRN is being bullied on things lik this thn its a a shame on all of us. Its a shame on you who don't even understand what one meant to say . First go out there ask how many of us know full national athem song I am sure not 75% peaople will be knowing full song. This all cry is to gain publicity and i think you got enough from this.

I've reposted the message after i had a few grammatical errors here and there and i had missed out on the journalist's name : DP satish . I'm sure to draw flak for having taking on a journalist. But i do not consider people who try to sell news and make them heard , journalists. And for that matter nobody can get away with whatever they say even if it is under the journalist "tag". Comming to the issue at large. I'm sure NRM would definitely not make a great president. I'm sure he wont. But for that matter no body can. Even Dr. APJ wans't all thet we expected or as he had promised. I'm sure to get abuses for having commented about APJ but this is a country where people go by blind faith and show extreme loyalty to their leaders. I agree APJ was a great scientist. but what has he done as a president other then meeting school chidren, blocking national highways during his visits and asking people to dream , dream ,dream and publishing a book with a vision for 2020???? Before shouting back at me please think of what kalam has done in the last 5 years and if india has overcome any of the problems that he had promised to. Be it poverty or child labour or anything for that matter. and NRM can be no better than Kalam. So lets stop debating about who we should start supporting and pledging our blind faith and extreme loyalty , lets try if we can make a difference to mother india ourselves.

First of all i am no fan of Narayan Murthy nor am i an Infosys employee.. But i do wish to make a statement to journalists and politicians who are making an issue just because they want to sell news.. I would appreciate if so called "patriotic-journalists" first learns to understand the nuance of the English language better before he comes up with a crap article filled with excessive emotions and fake patriotism. phrases like "shouldn't i be proud that a son of kannadiga soil" amonsgt others have just been used to appeal tot he sentiments of the readers.. Well what NRM did say was a instrumental version be played instead of everyone singing because the foreigners who wouldnt know to sing would indeed be embarassed standing not knowing how to sing when the people beside them can sing with such fluency. Now think people. you attend a music concert, and the entire crowd is expected to sing along and in fact they can because they are hardcore followers of the performer. When you are part of such a crowd due to some reason wouldn't you feel very embarrased when everyone is clapping their hands and singing with full enthusiasm while you are stuck among them not knowing what do or if you should try acting that you know the song by moving you lips? Dont you look around to see if people are looking at you standing like an idiot not knowing wat to do??? Yes it was this predicament thet NRM had explained. And the ones who cant understand english take it as an excuse to misinterpret things. I even remember our school began playing an instrumental version because half of the students(local+NRI) did not know how to recite properly and were singing whatever they like. Now is the school to blame that they dishonoured the national anthem by this act while all they did was save the honour of the anthem by not letting students sing it the wrong way?? Or will these jobless "journaists" and "politicains" charge the kids for not knowing the anthem??

the damn politicians always make a furore of things such as things and leave the important things like making education acesible and removing poverty to the dreams... to be a perfect indian u dont have to sing national anthem or remember independece day or anything like that when u work for the betterment of your country people and uplift their lives and change the world around you and make your country a better place that itself is greatest patriotism... politicians make such a hue and cry about these things accepted that they do show respect to all these things but what about development?? not a single day goes when there is some politician involved in some kind of scam!!
