Is there any issue on which our politicians, our netas dont have a view? Ok lets think hard. Ummm. from water shortage to cricket matches to anything that begs a face, they have a view on everything.
But... Read The Article
Although i agree to the blogger's views but he seems to be missing a pertinent point. Politicians are not from another planet or for that matter another country. They are from amidst us. And so are our journalists and media barons. If what the news channels are doing is right for the society and it stems from their faith in justice, then let them have courage of conviction. Why bother for support from the hypocritical political breed and others of their ilk? The immense public response to this clarion call should be an indicator that the common person wants the basic tenets of our constituion to be put in practise.

I dont think any of the news channels have tracked the story from the "Manu's dad" perspective. I can't even recollect seeing a picture of this man on any of the news channels...

Specifically 4rm 1thrilling event-I found that ONCE UPON A TIME 1 NOTEBLE DELTHI BASED MAIN-STREM INDIAN POLITICAL LEADER EXPLAINED 2MR.SHOURIE "WHAT'S THE DEFINITION OF INDIAN POLICTAL LEADER??????????????==============="WHO NEVER SAYS NO BUT NEVER DOES ANYTHING." From my mitigate INDIAN-POLITICAL KNOWLEDGE######## I think it's the BEST ADVOCATIVE EPITOME 2--this context OF BHUPEN'S BLOG.

Mr. Bhupendra I totally disagree with u specially after Sheila Dixit recently made a statement on Jessica Lal murder case stating that Justice has not been done in the case. U should not give up saying that no neta was willing to speak about this case. Its ur duty to make the neta speak about this serious issue. As a media person u have access to all the neta's and I am sure if u approach 50 netas u will get feedback from 5 at the least. You should rake up this issue in such a manner that Neta's will jump in with their comments ( not to ensure that Jessica Lal's family gets justice but to gain political mileage). Whatever be the case u just cannot give up. The entire nation has woken up from its gullivers sleep at last for a good cause. And now the Delhi police has reopened the case which is a ray of hope but still there is a long way to go. This issue should not fade away from the watchful eyes of the media like so many cases that have been forgotten in the past.

none of the politicians came forward to protest or even comment on the jessica case simple bcoz it would help them in no way in their power battle..we have to realize that whenever they open their mouths it has to be for their benefits..n for the jessica case a byte on television on a quote in the papers would not have helped their political ambitions even in the smallest manner.. n if manu's father factor is being taken into consideration..the vaiko jayalalitha merger is a wake up call for you..no one cares for anyone in politics.. all basically sums upto a simple thing - there is no chapter of ethics and moral in the politicians handbook ..and believe me that is indeed very disturbing

Thanks for an nice article but why bhupen u r not taking the responsibility to bring the truth, as a responsible citizen and as a good channel lets CNN- IBN takes the responsibility to punish the culprit who murdered Jessica. Than only i believe CNN ibn is a channel with a difference and u r a true proffessional who is doing journalism for the society. Hope u will not let me down Hemanta

Any politician commenting on the Jessica case? You wish! Suppose I am politician X, I call a meeting condemning Manu sharma and Vinod Sharma. Come election time, my party does not give me ticket. Well, then I can be pretty sure I can't knock for one at the Congress' door in haryana. And if I don't become an MLA, who will finance my own son's expensive drug habit?

Corruption is thriving at all levels in our country and has become an accepted part of our lives. Our attitude is like "As long as it works for me;its fine". We receive a jolt only when we have a Jessica in our family. We would wake up then I am sure. But today, thanks to the awareness created by media, the opinion expressed by courageous people, the common man we believe that righteousness may pervail ; atleast momentarily......

I endorse the theory put forth by the famous American Commentator Bill O'reilly that Politicians are in Politics for themselves. The nation and the people come a distant second and third. The politicians have no reason to get involved in this .... isn't the reason so obvious? Dead people don't vote! If someone in the media can convince this self help group (read politicians) that the youth will vote for you if you stand up for Justice, I can tell you that they will change color like only they can. I do not want to hurt the feelings of poor chameleons or PETA by comparing them to politicians.

Hi Bhupen you are right. First the Red Brigade lady Brinda Karat should open her mouth. She talks about everything under the son. Mrs.Karat are you listening? All politicians are one and the same. Partners in "crime"?
