Sixty glorious years of Indian Independence, India Shining, India the next Superpower, and many more such punch lines will be flashed across as we celebrate our 60th Independence. It is definitely a proud day for every Indian and as already... Read The Article
Good one Mr Saurabh. Guess what I feel same pain when I think about my country. But there are many major evils that are not just eating away our country but are hindrance to the growth of our nation. There is always something that can be done, lets join the regime if there is one.

Good article, speak the truth and take it forward from there, i am just glad that CNN-IBN gives chance for a slight right view of things. Most people dont realize you are speaking of good morals and values here.

Well ....Well written definitely....The theme is also good Saurabh...But what I feel is that your blogs are bringing in the same feelin each time...a frustrated patriot of the soil who sometimes blames the NRIs, sometimes the Indian residents and sometimes the thoughtlessness of us all for the wrong things happening. Well, I appreciate your concenr for India, but mere writing of these blogs saying people are thinking wrongly and speaking worngly wont serve the purpose...I am seeing so many support and appreciate your views and blogs.....if so many think this way....then why the crisis...just like you would say sons of the soil take India ahead, but you yourslef are working ot earn revenue for a foreign company....you would not agree to this...this is for gaining experience, why India cant give experience...Why odnt people like you take the initiative to retain talent instead of offering cheaper services ot foreign companies ot help them earn more......
I dont say your views are wrong..but why are they just views and the same views all the time..u blame all to be busy with Sanjay dutt, Did you make an effort to make soemthing good happen to India on her 0th Independence anniversary besides this blog....come on....dont just say revisit roots...we need some real heroes who could really direct the pat hand route for the revisit and revival with a picking economy and development, not the age old India woth its rich Culture only.....Easier said than done...SPeeches are many...but who shall take the lead...who shall make the move....who will start the revolution and yet strike the balance......

Saurabh: There are also contemporary issues, why dont you take them. Feminists in the government are hell bent on destroying Indian family system with laws like DV, sexual harassment bill etc. They are also proposing amendments to the gender biased laws to make them more stringent. They want to make Indian men impotent and to dance to the tunes of the wife.
Why dont you take up such issues, otherwise country will break.

It is again a well written article. I have always enjoyed reading your articles and you have a knack of writing the truth and dealing with the real issues India is facing. Keep doing the GOOD WORK! Mera Bharat Mahan !! makes more sense NOW after 60 years of Independence. India being the world's biggest democracy has proven its worth to the world. India's economic mark has made it felt on the international stage. Let us try to make India a Superpower and show the world that we are united.

Very Fantastic Article!! A recent survey conducted by AC Nielsen found tht in response to a question on wht r the best aspects of living in India..The top answer was "Our Culture". Not so surprising..Many of our beauty paegent contestants have the same answer when asked " Wht's it tht makes Indians so proud to be Indians n Why r they keen to be reborn as Indians?" Its very true tht India is a country having a unique culture thts respected everywhere around the globe. But the real problem is tht We Indians r not able to maintain our rich and varied culture. "Respect one another" is one lesson that is taught frm the books of our Syllabus. All people r alike n respecting one another is ones duty. Is it so? If yes....then why these many Dowry deaths? Why women exploitaion? Why their rape? Why caste n creed discrimination? Is this is what we mean by Swatantra Bharat? No Never...... Very Recently, Sanjay Dutt was ruling all the news channels.Celebrities came forward to help him out of this situation..But the in the glare of stardom we forgot tht there was a "True Indian" "Major Manish H Pitambare" who lost his life attacking the terrorists so tht we could watch the celeberities debating on Sanjay Dutt's Verdict. This was the height of ignorance....Who was to blame for this? We the "Indians" One-sixth of young people, those in the age group 15-25 years, feel politics is the key area in which India must progress if it is to become a developed Nation. But I feel tht unless n until deep down in our hearts we start understanding our duties n responsibilities nothing is gng to change... Our culture just tells us one thing "Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani". Come Forward n Try to be a Hindustani in true sense and make our nation proud....
