It was heartening to see presidential hopeful Barack Obama suggest a dialogue with Iran, if Iraq must be stabilised. These comments followed media speculation of a meeting between former President Jimmy Carter and Hamas leader, Khaled Mishaal, in Syria. Ignored... Read The Article
Solving the problem in the middle east needs extraordinary vision backed by a serious political will and a big heart. For a change in this american elections two candidates Democrat Barack Obama and lost republican nominee Ron Paul said true things to the people, apart from them all candidates especially republicans continued to feed hatred to people and not making them aware of the fact which is america has not made any real effort to solve the middle east problems. American politicians and their media is obsessed with three terms 9/11, al qaeda and osama bin laden. They are in this illusion that if they wipe out al qaeda and kill osama bin laden they will be relieved of all the problems. The fact is even if they do that, it will be like treating the sick and not the sickness. Iranian President is a terrific personality, though he is no saint. But i believe that at least a change in attitude from the american administration can at least provide hope to the people of the region and if not more and will surely change the image of america in the minds of people around the world. If the change in attitude does not work, they can and will surely go fortthe final kill later which future generations will read in history as World War 3. Barack Obama is a welcome change and if elected, which is less likely i feel could change the face of the world.

I highly appreciate author's knowledge on the issue and through analysis of the situation . Also, if he had thrown some light on Mr Ahmadanijad's upcoming visit to india. Actually what I am keen to know is some anticipation regarding India's stand ....as rebuking US yesterday was indeed a comendable job... but will it be all or India has fully realised its worth and despite of this stand will India still head for the Atomic agreement with US their way.
And it is sometimes hillarious... sometimes ironic to see US so vulnerable and insecure they could not have got it more wrong than this. One blunder on top of the other but cant blame them.. they must do everything possible to save a sinking ship.

Today Hillary Clinton had said that she will order military action to wipe out Iran from the map - typical con like attitude exactly for which US is paying heavy price in its relationship with other countries. But if we went few years back, it was under another Clinton - Bill, USA was respected and loved all over the world. Having heard her on different issues like immigration, abortion, its easy to say that she is as much in the Right side as Bill was in the Left. As Arundhuti Ray had said that there is very little to choose from these 3, but still my money and heart is for Obama as he is better of the lot.
