Before IPL 7 returned home from it's alternate base in the Emirates, all eight teams had fought five battles. In Delhi's case, they won just twice while Rajasthan produced three wins.
The good news for both the outfits is that they left UAE on a winning note, and though there was a little break before the IPL machinery shifted to India, every team enjoys a winning momentum behind them.
The nature of Delhi and Rajasthan's last wins had a contrasting tone to it. Delhi beat Mumbai Indians with a comforting six-wicket margin, but Rajasthan had to fight tooth and nail before clinching their thriller against Kolkata Knight Riders on boundary count, following ties at the end of 40 overs and Super Over.
