As it happened: India vs Australia, 3rd ODI

With the euphoria of Jaipur carnage settled, India and Australia go into the third ODI eyeing a 2-1 lead at the PCA stadium in Mohali, where the batsmen are again expected to call the shots on a friendly track.

Thanks to Rohit Sharma's career best 141*, Shikhar Dhawan's 95 and a power packed 52-ball 100* by Virat Kohli, India overhauled Australia's 359 to script the second best chase in the history of ODIs and level the seven-match series 1-1.

Australia won the series opener by 72 runs in Pune.
