Mukund and Yuvraj were the other half-centurions on day one in Mumbai; for England, Swann and Bresnan took three wickets each.
India A 369 for 9 at stumps:
So that is the end of day one. India A have done well to recover and cross 350. That was made possible due to the century stand between Manoj Tiwary (93) and Irfan Pathan (46) after the home team lost three big wickets in the afternoon - the biggest being Yuvraj Singh for 59. For England, Tim Bresnan and Graeme Swann took three wickets each. The big concern for the visitors will be the fitness of Steven Finn who went to hospital for scans on his thigh. Finn bowled three overs in his first spell after India A chose to bat but had to leave the field after bowling one over in his second. He did not return.
India A 347 for 9 after 86 overs:
Manoj Tiwary's innings is over on 93. Tim Bresnan is the wicket-taker late in the day with a yorker that does for the Bengal batsman. Next ball, Bresnan bowls Ashok Dinda. England making a bid to bowl India A out for under 350.

James Anderson comes back for a new spell and doesn't waste timing in getting a wicket. The sixth Indian batsman to fall is Wriddhiman Saha, not offering a shot to a delivery that pitches and straightens. Bad call from Saha.
India A 172 for 5 after 44 overs: Like Abhinav Mukund, Yuvraj Singh too departed after getting a start. The left-hander made 59 before being stumped off Graeme Swann, the offspinner's second wicket of the innings. In his 80-ball knock Yuvraj hit seven fours and four sixes.

Lunch: India A 113 for 3
Graeme Swann has struck on the stroke of lunch. Abhinav Mukund falls for a well-compiled 73 as he flicks the ball off middle stump and Ian Bell takes a reflex catch at short leg. Yuvraj Singh though has started to find his range of shots. He's on 27. The players have headed inside for lunch. There were 25 overs of play in the session.

Tim Bresnan has struck for England. Ajinkya Rahane departs for 4, caught by Kevin Pietersen at gully. But Yuvraj Singh gets a life first ball as Samit Patel spills a chance at square leg. Yuvraj flicked the ball off his pads but Patel put down the catch. Will that drop hurt England? Time will tell.
