MS Dhoni won\'t be receiving his graduation degree as he could not attend the classes of any of the six semesters and failed to appear for the exams.
New Delhi: Ranchi's St. Xaviers College's most illustrious student, India captain MS Dhoni, won't be receiving his graduation degree as he could not attend the classes of any of the six semesters and failed to appear for the exams.
The World Cup-winning captain got enrolled for Bachelor of Business Office Management and Secretariat Practice at St Xavier's in 2008 but he never attended the classes or appeared for examinations. As per a report published in UK's Daily Mail, Dhoni's registration will expire in 2013 and the college will be conferring the degrees to the Class of 2011 on Monday, February 18.
The college had offered Dhoni with study materials and concessions to take exams anywhere in the country or any institutions run by Jesuit Group but he could not do so because he was playing for India non-stop, home and away.
The principal of St. Xaviers College Father Tete said as quoted by the paper, "This is an easy course and he could have cleared it. Dhoni was supplied with books and study materials for the first semester. The college was prepared to consider his absence from class as he is an outstanding cricketer who's leading the national team. We could have even considered holding exams at venues and dates of his convenience, if he had wanted".
