    Indian players unhappy with IPL clause

    Several senior players from the Indian cricket team met BCCI president Shashank Manohar on Friday.

    Mumbai: Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh were among several senior players from the Indian cricket team who met BCCI president Shashank Manohar on Friday to resolve issues regarding their IPL contracts.

    The players are seeking clarifications on some clauses in their contracts which include, the docking of 20 per cent of their contract fee if their team fails to finish in the top three.

    Another point of content_cnion is the requirement to devote 10 days in a year to promote the sponsors of their IPL teams which the players say they will find hard to accommodate.

    Earlier, several leading members of Team India had reportedly expressed their unhappiness over the payment structure of the Indian Premier League and met to discuss the issue, sources told CNN-IBN on Thursday.
