    Ishant's yakking gets Warner thwacking

David Warner launched a stellar attack on India's bowlers after Australia had bowled the opposition out for 161. He began with a series of coruscating drives and cuts and sped to his half-century off just 36 balls.

As Warner attacked India's pace bowlers, Ishant Sharma responded by having a go at him verbally. This clearly rattled Warner, who replied in kind. The umpires had to intervene and separate the two players, but Warner was clearly pumped up. However, Ishant's chatter had an adverse effect on India.

Just after the spat with Ishant, Warner pulled out all the stops in his attack. Zaheer Khan was driven past mid-off, Umesh Yadav was pulled wide of mid-on, and the debutant Vinay Kumar was welcomed with a straight six. But Warner saved his best for Ishant, who was disdainfully smacked over his head for a huge six. So much for trying to rile up the opposition. Stick to bowling, Ishant.
