They beat defending champions Tasmania to claim their seventh domestic first-class title.
Brisbane: Queensland claimed their seventh domestic first-class title when they wrapped up a three-wicket win over defending champions Tasmania with a day to spare in the Sheffield Shield final.
Chasing 133 to win, Queensland were coasting at 83-2 on Monday before slumping to 88-7 following a middle-order collapse sparked by James Faulkner (3-27).
Chris Hartley (19 not out), who scored 111 to help Queensland to an unlikely 35-run first-innings lead, again held the innings together when he combined in an unbroken 45-run partnership with No. 9 Steve McGoffin (26 not out) to give the Bulls to victory.
