After bowling J & K for 153 on day one, Andhra resumed their innings from 118 for 4 on day two and lost Amol Muzumdar in the first over of the day. But Pradeep showed defiance and shepherded the tail neatly. He got able support from Syed Sahabuddin and Rajesh Pawar, both of whom scored half-centuries, and Andhra made 390 in their first innings.
