Pinal Shah will lead the side in their encounter against Bengal, starting from Wednesday.
Vadodara: Ambati Rayudu has been named as vice captain of Baroda which will play against Bengal in their Group B Elite Division Ranji trophy match at the Motibag ground here from Wednesday.
Pinal Shah was already declared as captain. Rayudu who hails from Hyderabad has opted to play for Baroda and has done well so far in the season.
Baroda has so far secured 13 points and stands third in the league table. They have to win or take 1st innings lead over Bengal to qualify for the knockout stage.
Baroda was runners up last year having lost to Rajasthan in the final here.
