Colombo: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has obtained the services of former ICC Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat for the post of a consultant. SLC Secretary Nishantha Ranatunga confirmed the development.
His role would be to advise on the governance of SLC affairs, more particularly its finances. SLC officials said that they were keen on drawing on Lorgat's experience and fresh ideas.
SLC, who is on the verge of embarking on a major restructuring programme, expected to benefit from Lorgat's vision.
Lorgat retired from the ICC's CEO position in June, having spent four years at the helm of the world governing body.
