The BCCI Working Committee will meet in Kolkata on Sunday and is expected to discuss various issues, including the IPL spot-fixing report and India's tour of South Africa later this year.
Sources have told CNN-IBN that the Committee is looking to curtail India's tour to South Africa later this year after Cricket South Africa (CSA) appointed Haroon Lorgat as its CEO despite opposition from the BCCI.
The Working Committee, according to sources, is unlikely to bring up the two-member inquiry panel report on Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra in the meeting. CNN-IBN has learned that there is no clarity in the report on Meiyappan or Kundra. The Committee, though, will check the status of Ravi Sawani-led inquiry into spot-fixing and betting by Sreesanth, Ankeet Chawan and Ajit Chandila.
Also likely to come up for discussion is the findings of a Disciplinary Committee that investigated charges against suspended former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi, who is currently in London.
