Graeme Swann has accused Sri Lankan batsman Dilruwan Perera of cheating during England's three-day match.
Colombo: England offspinner Graeme Swann has accused Sri Lanka batsman Dilruwan Perera of cheating after the batsman disputed a catch and refused to leave the ground.
The incident occurred during a three-day warm-up match between England and Sri Lanka Board XI that the touring side won by an innings and 15 runs during the week end.
The Island newspaper reported on Monday that Sri Lanka was 63 for seven in their second innings and facing defeat when Perera edged seam bowler James Anderson to captain Andrew Strauss. The England skipper claimed the catch but the umpires were not certain.
Swann told reporters that Perera "chose to cheat" by refusing to walk.
