Noida: In a shocking case of murder, a 14-year-old student was found murdered at her residence on Friday morning.

The 14-year-old was found murdered in her bedroom by her parents on Friday morning. Police suspect that their 45-year-old servant Hemraj killed her in a fit of rage.

Arushi Talwar, had turned 14 on Wednesday and her friends were all looking to the celebrations on the coming Saturday. However, as fate has it, her life was brutally cut short.

“She was such a nice girl. How can people be so cruel,” asks Arushi’s friend, Prerna.

“Arushi was my daughters’ close friend. I don’t believe this has happened,” says Arushi’s neighbour Jyoti.

"We have identified the servant’s Nepal address and also detained some of his relatives in Noida. We hope to arrest him as soon as possible,” says SP City, MK Mishra.

Noida City SP Mahesh Mishra said, “The body will be sent for examination. We don’t know the nature of injuries. We will look into the issue.”

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police Vikram Singh told CNN-IBN that he will seek an explanation for the shoddy police probe.

Hemraj was staying with the Talwars for the past eight months. According to initial investigations, he allegedly entered Arushi's bedroom past midnight on Thursday and stabbed her with a kitchen knife thrice on the head before slashing her neck.

Arushi was bleeding to death even as her parents slept in the next room having heard nothing. The crime came to light on Friday morning when the maid arrived and found that the house had been locked from outside and Hemraj was missing.
