New Delhi: In Mumbai, the Sakinaka police arrested 15 people late on Saturday night on charges of unlicensed partying and disturbing the neighbourhood.

Eight women and seven men were picked up from Gold building near Powai in Mumbai's suburbs.

A senior police official said it was a high profile gathering, possibly a rave party. The investigating officer at the Sakinaka police station though refused to talk to reporters about it.

The accused were from apparently affluent families and were above 25 years.

Mumbai Police Inspector Krishnarao Pawar said, “They were shouting and playing loud music. We have booked them under the Bombay Police Act.”
