Mumbai: Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has apologized—in his blog, in a TV interview and in a press conference—for a statement by his wife which the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) says is offensive to Maharashtrians.
The Mumbai Police has warned MNS chief Raj Thackeray against violence after attacked and damaged a ticket-booking window at Juhu's PVR cinema. "Mr Raj Thackeray should know we’ll take action. Mumbai isn’t anybody’s property," said K L Prasad, Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order.
