New Delhi: They may look like tele-tubbies but these are guys on a serious mission. Four men from Andhra Pradesh are trying to spread awareness about condoms and for them the way to go about it is by singing a song.
A video posted an YouTube by a member in November shows that for once, the over-the-top South Indian song and dance routine is being used for a social cause.
And the response says it all — the video has been viewed over 6 lakh times and favourited more than 2,000 times. And some of the comments posted from all over the world are pretty revealing.
The song lets you know where condoms are available and also the methods and benefits of using one.
Dr Monica Mahajan of Max Hospital says, "It's a great initiative. Condom awareness in India still low and we need such ventures so people understand the importance of using condoms."
The characters in the video also offer some really wise advice and the condom also gets to voice its complaints — all in good humour.
