Los Angeles: Angelina Jolie has revealed that she is pregnant with boyfriend Brad Pitt's child.

Pitt's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, confirmed on Wednesday that Jolie, 30, is expecting a baby this summer.

People magazine reported that Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the UN, told a fellow charity aid worker: "Yes, I'm pregnant" while filming The Good Shepherd in the Dominican Republic.

If the rumours are true, this will be Angelina's first biological child and Brad's first child all together.

Brad has recently made steps towards co-guardianship of Jolie's two adopted children; four-year-old Maddox and one-year-old Zahara.
