New Delhi: The Kolkata police on Monday said that they have received an email threat to the lives of Pakistan cricket team members.
The Pakistan team is arriving in the city on Tuesday for their second Test match against India.
Police say the threat has been sent from a Yahoo email ID.
Police sources have told CNN-IBN that they are sharing all available information with Central intelligence agencies.
However they have admitted that providing adequate security to the Pakistan team may be a problem.
They want the movements of the team to be more restricted.
Kolkata police is meeting the team managers of both Indian and Pakistani teams to review security.
Earlier, close on the heels of blasts in Uttar Pradesh, email threat was received on series of explosions, including an attack on the visiting Pakistani cricket team.
