New Delhi: The CBI has arrested the domestic help of the Talwars' close associates, the Durranis. Rajkumar had been picked up by the CBI and questioned twice before.
He was named by Dr Talwar's compounder, Krishna, during interrogation. Up until now, Krishna was the prime suspect in the case, but the focus has now shifted to Rajkumar.
Rajkumar had already been subjected to brain-mapping, lie-detector tests and a narco-analysis when he was held earlier. The CBI is now claiming that there were discrepancies in Rajkumar's statements.
CBI Joint Director, Arun Kumar told the media that a white T-shirt stained with blood was found in Rajkumar's house.
"The T-shirt had been sent to Gujarat for examination and a forensic team there had confirmed that it contained blood stains of a human being. It has now been sent for advanced investigation to Hyderabad and Rajkumar has been arrested," Arun Kumar stated.
The white T-shirt is concrete material evidence that the CBI has found. The team in Hyderabad will conduct a DNA test on the blood on the T-shirt so that they can determine whose blood it is.
Friday's Developments
Meanwhile, on Friday morning, Krishna was taken by the CBI to the Talwar residence where the CBI had proceeded to recreate the crime scene, however with not much success.
