New Delhi: In the latest on the Noida double murder case, the CBI has summoned Dr Rajesh Talwar's wife, Dr Nupur Talwar and his brother, Dinesh Talwar for interrogation once again.

The interrogation comes 25 days after the case was handed over to the CBI.

The agency has conducted several tests since taking over the case. These include one narco-analysis and three lie-detector tests on accused compounder Krishna, two polygraph tests on Rajesh Talwar and one on Nupur Talwar.

On Friday, the CBI had interrogated the Noida police over missing evidence in the murders of Arushi and Hemraj.

“We are trying to ascertain what apparel Krishna had worn when he was picked up. So we have questioned the Noida police,” CBI Joint Director, Arun Kumar, had said.

It was a clear hint that the CBI suspects the Noida police may have consciously or unconsciously tampered with crucial evidence in the sensational double murder case.

The agency also wants to send Dr Rakesh Talwar's compunder, Krishna’s clothes for forensic analysis. His khukri - believed to be the murder weapon - has already been sent to a forensic lab.

Since the CBI took over the case on May 31:

  • Rajesh Talwar has been undergone two polygraph tests and a psycho analysis.
  • His wife Nupur has also been subject to lie-detector and psycho-analysis tests.
  • Krishna, their compounder, has been put through a narco analysis, a polygraphy and psycho analysis test.
  • Talwar’s family friends, the Durranis, have also undergone a psycho analysis.
  • Their help Rajkumar also underwent the same test and also a lie-detector test. He was been questioned for five consecutive days.
  • Servant of one of Talwars’ neighbours, Vijay Mandal, has also undergone a lie detector test.
