The marriage between Akbar and Hamida Banu Begum was more of a political alliance rather than a romantic one. Interestingly here Hindu name was not Jodha Bai, it was a 20th century mistake.
While on that note, i doubt if the Mughal Kings ever loved any woman as it has been glorified in these movies. Lets not forget they were all polygamous and apart from this they also loved to have a whole lot of women (preferrably in all sizes) in their harem.
The title of the movie (Jodhaa-Akbar) is itself historically incorrect so I wont be surpriced if it turns out to be another 'Mangal Pandey - The Rising' kind of movie.
About Aishwarya Rai, on a personal note, such historical movies just does not suit her. Her acting is horrible. She is glamorous and should stick to glamorous roles (ala Dhoom 2). On this she should learn from Bipasha on how to stick to ones forte.

she has done so much more for indian women and she is part of 5 ONG as well. she was also part of The Microcredit Summit Campaign. she has done many Campaigns free. like eye donetion, 'Help concert' (to rais money for tsunami victom), Microcredit advert. and i am sure many more. she has brought hollywood attention to bollywood.

Ya ya , she also endorses some campaign that are only beauty related which causes more harm to skin and what not . I bet she would never use those products she endorses. She is so artificial ! Oh the school is another face saving agenda after what happened to Big B's Land scam and anyone talking abt a Large sum of money got my Aish through a parcel which excise dept seized !
