Jammu: After the recent increase in incidents of suicide and fragging, Indian Army personnel in Jammu and Kashmir are looking for ways to reduce stress levels among the jawans and Baba Ramdev's yoga is what they have turned to.

At a police camp near the border, Baba Ramdev's disciples are training over 250 jawans.

Says a sepoy of the J&K Police, Rakesh Kumar, " I've always wanted to go to

a Ramdev camp but never got time. We are glad his disciples have come to teach us. The camp was very useful."

The force is hoping these sessions will help soldiers deal with the high levels of stress on job. They are also hoping to improve communication and monitoring mechanisms.

Says Core Commander, 16 Core, Lt Gen T K Sapru, "The systems are already in place. We are now monitoring them a little more. We are making the commanders down the chain aware of these things and they are monitoring them a little more than earlier."

For the stressed amongst security forces, it's now brand Ramdev which is coming to the rescue. Every morning the men in uniform have decided to breathe in more life and breathe out their worries.
