New Delhi: Spanish giants Barcelona have drawn massive crowds on their summer tour to the US.
With 72 thousand tickets already sold for their last friendly Frank Rijkaard's side decided to have a bit of fun giving some New York youngsters a thrill they will cherish for a long time.
But how did the Barca players relax when they were not on the field? They still played football but this time their opponents were a bunch of kids at a New York City public park. And they got Rafael Marquez and co to play the beautiful game with.
"I am beginning to realise how big Barcelona is in the United States. The response of people here is amazing, considering we are only here for a short time," star midfielder Lionel Messi says.
The European Champions take on Soccer Red bulls in their last friendly at the Giants Stadium at New Jersy.
The tour ahead of the European season is a big hit with the football crazy Americans.
