pooja Licenses should be issued only after proper training of drivers as done abroad. Further, the training should inculcate a traffic sense that brings disciplne on the roads, for this the penalties should be enhanced and with it salaries of policemen. Lastly, traffic police has to be respected there dignity should be restored.

Jagdish I think lane system should be enforced very strictly, and honking should be banned may be like in the united states, only honk in emergency. Police should give tickets or suspend the license of people not following the rules. And the main thing is people should realize the importance of following the rules.

abhay One of the first signs of a good civilized country can be easily visualised by the traffic sense which its countrymen has. It is really sad and rather depressing that even after so many years we donot have any traffic sense and rash driving and people getting killed is a usual phenomenon. I would really ask CNN IBN to make an impact to enforce law and proper lane driving in our country specially the metros.

siddharth well i can see that the man who killed was behaving with total unreasonableness, and should be punished. But what was the fellow doing walking in middle of road with a mobile phone to his ears? if the biker had been doing that he would have been fined for using mobile while riding.I believe the fact remains that if motorists are wrong sometimes pedistrains are also not behaving as in civilsed society

Harsh I believe that Indians are becoming more and more impatient and road rage is the direct result. Our lifestyle is becoming so fast paced and stressful that patience is no longer a virtue that Indians possess.

srikanth Such incidents should be explained while giving license. And those who participated in road rage should be banned from driving. Campaigns should be held and explain bikers how to react in certain situations. I feel no biker will intend to kill someone during a roadrage. Its like dominating the scene by kicking first. But sometimes only a single kick can prove fatal. They think its heroism and will definetely say it proudly among their friends. I think campaigning and proper media publicity can limit such rages.
