Jammu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Rajnath Singh on Saturday said in Jammu that the Congress government in the state has been reduced to a minority and it's decision to revoke the land transfer order is illegal.

"Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) land allotment cancellation done by this government is shameful. State government is in minority so it does not have any moral or legal right to cancel the allotment of land that a majority government had authorised," Rajnath said.

Meanwhile, curfew continued in Jammu, Samba and Kathua for the fifth day, and the bandh, too, entered the sixth consecutive day.

The party has said that the Amarnath land transfer was a poll issue and if voted to power in the state, it would divert the land back to the SASB.

Appeasing the sentiment in Jammu region, the BJP has also said that Article 370 should be abolished in Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile sporadic protests over the revocation of land transfer order still continued in parts of Jammu including Muthi, Digiana and Samba.

Jammu will witness a complete strike on Sunday too.
