SANJAY( UNFORTUNATELY )HAS TO BE AN EXAMPLE FOR FUTURE KIDS, HE CAN BE REMEMBERED AS A MARTYR.... (Will help in moulding new generation of rich spoilt kids...) I feel bad for sanjay Dutt since he is a changed man...or at least seems to be....as he has grown older and more mature...however he has to be the person to be unfortunately given a harsh sentence to dissuade others in younger age group to commit offence which are illegal and not conducive to a safe society...and make them feel that their improved behavious , status and money can get them away from the hands of law.....sanjay should in the interest of nation...be a martyr to be an example for others...like the Nanda case in delhi..where the culprit thought they can get away...or salman khan who has been getting away on couple of occassion (black buck and land rover...and so many other true criminals..).
However in the same breath I would really like our judiciary system to have a different system of punishment for crimes committed in rashness...or people who are genuinely good but circumstances have change them...SOCIAL SERVICE..make them compulsorily work in orphanges, old age homes or anything for the good of society...to be done for meagre amount of pay..which can accumulate...further with sanjay dutt's capabilities ..it can be used to generate some money by organisaing shows which can be used to improve facilities and maintain prisons better....well lets pary for a better India where white collar crime is also considered equally punishable offense, where intentionally hurting other people is also considered as a legal crime.......i have hopes...lets work for it..

Sanjay ...was trapped into everything by Underworld . Would never be linked directly . Punnishment too harsh . So many hollywoood stars in 90s had link with D and gang . It was a status symbol to see alongwith D in early 90s . Punnishment too harsh . We give a HeroS welcome to DR HANEEF ,offer him a govt job ..he was so close to actual terrorist of glasgow attack . If it had happened in Bangalore then ... .
So many MPs with actual murder charges having illegal arms are sitting in Parliament .

Dear Friend, You are talking about Mr.Haneef ,but his only problem is one of his cousin is a terrorist. He never handled any AK56 or Ak47 But Sanjay is the one who had Ak65. And its very pathetic that you are comparing this two different things. Obviously and certainly Haneef is hero as he was a neither a terrorist not supported terrorist activities nor handled any Weapons.

The judges decision was fair to sentence him but 6 yrs is too much considering the punishment given to the other three involved in his sector of the court. Law has to be strict no matter for who is society but of course a relativity must be set with respect to the others in the same box. I think the court should atleast reduce the sentence and give him some bail in between. Man makes mistakes but can also learn from them. I feel he must have learnt something down these years. God give him and his family the strength. Hope that justice remains forever.

Varun, what about you praying for giving mental strength to victims... People like you supporting a terrorist like sunjay dutt should be sent to jail...

Sanjay is not above law of the land. If congress leaders has any sympathy., They have full power to amend the law in the parliament. Also propose Mr Sanjay Dutt for the next president of India.

I think it was a bit harsh on him. He has been on probation for so long now and he has changed. I am not saying that because of his movies, but because of his social work for AIDS and other activities. How many amoungst us do all that... He was also not directly involved in that case at all.

i really dont understand why the politicians and much of media is backing sanjay dutt, why dont these guys look from the side of victims, who lost everything. why are they sympathizing with sanjay dutt, is he an innocent? everyone knows that he has links with underworld...it is so sad that politicans and few media people are giving support to him. please give support to the victims of the bombay blast. THIS SHOULD BE A LESSON TO THE STARS , NOT TO INDULGE IN SUCH ACTIVITIES. THEY SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT THEY WILL BE PUNISHED TOO. last year or so, i was shocked to see sanjay dutt in a program i guess- jai jawan in NDTV where he interacts with soldiers...its shame on ndtv. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW AND NO NEED TO SHOW SYMPATHY TO STARS...IF U CAN, SHOW SYMPATHY TO THE VICTIMS OF THE BLAST. THE JUDGE CLEARLY TOLS THAT HE MET UNDERWORLD DON IN DUBAI...SHAME ON DAS MUNSHI...INFACT THE MEDIA SHOULD PROJECT IT HAS LESSON FOR THOSE WHO INDULGE IN SUCH ANTI SOCIAL AND ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES TO TEACH LESSON TO OUR BOLLYWOOD STARS. i saluate to the judge, who showed everyone is same infront of the law. For me Mr. Kode is an Hero.

I think the court verdit is not the issue here, it has been proved hence I don't know the reason for the shock.
It is eing treated like any other common man, Now only thing which I think should be considered is payrolls during the imprisionment on the basis on conduct, something like payroll every 1 year for six years.
