Tirupati: The launch of Chiranjeevi's political party Praja Rajyam in Tirupati went off well. All thanks to the meticulous planning which made the launch such a mega-event.

Planning played an important role both in bringing in the crowds and in seating them.

The venue itself was divided into four sections, A, B, C and D. The D-ring was closest to the stage where the disabled and the media were seated. The fans were spread out across the remaining three rings. Those far away could view their star on one of the 12 huge LCD screens. Over 10 generator vans provided power to the flood-lights.

Ambulances were on call to assist the injured. Party workers and volunteers from the IT industry ensured that women were safe in the crowd. The security, however, was inadequate.

But, only 2,000 policemen were there to tackle a crowd of 10 lakh people who arrived in 12 special trains, 4,000 government and private buses and 40,000 SUVs.

The function was choreographed by a special event management team. Though the cost was huge but the fans were impressed.

"Chiranjeevi has to become the next Chief Minister. He is the only good person in politics today. All the others are after money. He doesn't need it, so he will be the one to change things and make a difference,” screamed the residents of Tirupati with excitement.

"It's the youth that will build the country tomorrow. So he's wooing the youth,” said the residents of Nellore.

So the first round has been won by Chiranjeevi but he’ll face the main challenge when the elections will be held.
