Mumbai: Actress Monica Bedi was evicted from the reality showBigg Boss 2 on Friday.

CNN-IBN Exclusive caught up with the actress after her exit.

CNN-IBN: Why did u decide to be on Bigg Boss? What was your purpose of joining?

Monica Bedi: The main reason I did this show was because I wanted people to know who is real Monica Bedi. People have perceptions through what they have read and seen. So, I wanted them to see the real Monica.

CNN-IBN: How do you find life after Bigg Boss? Has it changed, was the purpose of joining Bigg Boss fulfilled?

Monica Bedi: I have got lots of appreciation. People are calling me and I am getting positive response on Internet as well

CNN-IBN: Your life has resembled a Bollywood script. Tell us, do you still sometimes think of your life with Salem?

Monica Bedi: No, I don't think about it at all. It's been six years, I am not in touch with that person. We parted long back. Last I spoke to him in 2002. After we were arrested in 2002, I have never met him or spoken to him

CNN-IBN: You say you have never met Abu Salem, but we know that you met Abu Salem in Portugal. Is this true?

Monica Bedi: I spoke to Abu only once for 2 minutes in Portugal during a trial. He apologised to me for all the embarrassment and problems I had to go through because of him. He also said that he'll be the happiest person if I come out of prison, lead a normal life and get married to a good guy.

CNN-IBN: Do you think your struggle has ended or you still have a long way to go?

Monica Bedi: I am struggling but have not given up. Had I been some other girl, I would have gone back to my parents in Norway or would have lived a silent life but I chose to fight.

CNN-IBN: Is it true that you were being troubled when you were in Bhopal jail?

Monica Bedi: It has never happened that someone has misbehaved with me in prison. I was treated the same way as other inmates in the jail.
