End of 78 overs: Pakistan 235 all out South Africa have won the Test by an innings and 18 runs and the series 3-0. Dale Steyn, Kyle Abbott and Robin Peterson accounted for the last three wickets of Sarfraz Ahmed (40), Ehsan Adil (12) and Rahat Ali (22) respectively. Steyn returned with 4 for 80, while debutant Abbott, who took seven in the first innings, and Rory Kleiveldt took two wickets apiece.
End of 65 overs: Pakistan 187 for 7 Soon after tea, Dale Steyn got rid of Saeed Ajmal trapping the Pakistani batsman lbw for 31. With the wicket, Steyn went past Allan Donald's wicket tally of 330 and was only behind Shaun Pollock, the highest wicket-taker for South Africa. Ehsan Adil joined Sarfarz Ahmed (33) at the crease.
End of 62 overs: Pakistan 176 for 6 at tea After the wicket of Asad Shafiq for six, Sarfraz Ahmed and Saeed Ajmal batted with with some flair adding an unbeaten 62 for the seventh wicket. Ajmal was unbeaten on 30, while Sarfraz was on 27.
End of 47 overs: Pakistan 109 for 5 Captain Misbah-Ul-Haq and opener Imran Farhat go back to the pavilion in quick succession. First Farhat departs as he edges debutant Kyle Abbott straight through to AB de Villiers behind the wickets for 43. A few overs later, Misbah too goes, edging Rory Kleinveldt to de Villiers for 5. Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed are at the crease. A big defeat is looming large over the tourists.
End of 39 overs: Pakistan 94 for 3 Azhar Ali departs after a misunderstanding with Imran Farhat leads to his run-out. The 54-run stand comes to an end as Azhar departs for 27. He consumed 110 balls for his runs. Captain Misbah-Ul-Haq has joined Imran who is on 38.
End of 37 overs: Pakistan 87 for 2 at Lunch: It is lunch on day three. Imran Farhat and Azhar Ali resist the session after Younis Khan's departure. Both the batsmen applied themselves and took Pakistan into lunch without any further trouble. They are still trailing by 166 runs with eight wickets in hand. Farhat and Ali both look settled now.
End of over 29: Pakistan are 75 for 2: Imran Farhat and Azhar Ali are consolidating Pakistan's second innings. They have added 37 runs for the third wicket so far. They still need another 178 runs to make South Africa to bat again.
End of over 23: Pakistan are 56 for 2: Pakistan batsmen are taking their time and playing cautiously. They have scored only 13 runs in last six overs. Steyn,Philander and Abbott are bowling their heart out. Tough hour of play for Pakistan.
End of over 17: Pakistan are 43 for 2: Big blow to Pakistan as Younis khan departs. Dale Steyn bowled a short length delivery and the ball held its line. Younis edged it and Smith who is as safe as a fort in the slips, grabs the easy catch. Imran Farhat joins Azhar Ali.

End of over 10: Pakistan are 18 for 1: Vernon Philander bowled the first over of the day. Four runs came of it. South Africa will look to pick some early wickets to put more pressure on Pakistan.
On day two, the debutant Kyle Abbott made terrific start to his Test career as he picked up seven wickets and put Pakistan almost out of the game. In reply to South Africa's first innings total of 409, Pakistan were all out for a mere 156. Following on in the second innings, Pakistan were 14 for 1 at stumps on second day.
