Nobody is the authority to say that this was the life of jesus christ. Each will have their own view. Let them express their views and it upto each induvidual to follow it or not. Even in Christianity there are various views... first let them come to a conclusion in that matter. Why people take the religious beliefs into films....??? Films are made for entertainment, and the problem comes when people get involved into it, and try to make a comparision with real life. It is a science fiction, and why don't people take it in that sense!!. Nobody gives the right point to ban the film, the presence of one or two controveries doesn't mean that it should be banned. What may seem wrong to me may be correct for some one else. If the govt. starts hearing such unmeaningful things then in feature there will be dharnas and protests for even small matters.

A movie is for mere entertainment. It is just for relaxing and not to be considered for real life activites.when are people going to realise it?when all the other people in the world where the christian population is high, are keeping quiet why can't we?This is sheer madness. This film must be released and if people don't like it, let them not see it

It is from those days of Adam and Eve to this day the cosmic truth stands that we are all under one Almighty God our father to whom we submit all our deeds and devotions.
The church says that Da Vinci Code should not be screened or seen by Christians?? What about Muslims what about Jews what about Hindus or others.
Generations and generation from the heavens of the Almighty. Why we still believe we cannot touch the divinity! Why? The church says NO! Nothing that came to this world is perfect. Religion does matter to people not much in the western part of the world but in India its seen as religious sentiments. Humanity is the biggest religion and all the rest follows.Da vinci Code also follows a theory and can be proved or disproved but let's not go into tampering the history.
Let's be not that conservative that people started thinking that we are also thinking as the ancient Catholic Church used to be, please please a movie cannot break any code for Christ Sake. Its is the evil which is trying to point us on the wrong direction.Let the film be released.

India is a secular country, and in india religion has always been a delicate issue. Lot of people say, it shouldnt be banned, and everybody has the right to see it. Yes, but it affects the feelings of lot of chritians in India. Even thought it is a fiction movie, a person who doesnt know chritianity or Jesus, understands the facts in the movie as the truth. Also this is something which affect the belief of a group of people. People who have strong belief, these movies wont affect them. But yes, people who just have heard of jesus, it creates a wrong impression. Its the same if a fiction movie is released about the Gos of another religion. Its better not screen this.

If anything be it a movie or a novel can change the faith of a person in his religion then it shows how week is his / her faith in the religion.
There are many things to be cleared and people still debate about it so why not let people decide for themselves.... If anyone who has a problem with the movie can let me know and ill clear your misconceptions....

i think the da vinci code should not be banned from screening in india look movies are for entertaintement. if the da vinci code is banned as some people are telling that it hurts their religious sentiments like that some movies are released every week or month why are not banned i think it "s not right to ban the movie because some people are against why should all not get entertainted by seeing the movie.

the da vinci code is too small a subject for a debate against faith.people who think a book or a movie could bring down their religion are only questioning their own faith

while the vatican asked the christians not t see the movie, the indian catholics associations are the first to see the movie.there are those who are eagerly waitng for this movie to be released.just because1 percent of the population wants it to be banned you cannot prevent a whole nation from seeing it. it is just a work of fiction lets keep it that way

why do some of the religious organizations of our country have problems with movies...??? cant they see a film as a film...??? when the book has been the bestseller in all the countries it has been released, then why creating problem for the movies...!!! these are cheap, attention-loving narrow-minded people who are voicing their minds rather than the public opinion...
