I appreciate to encourage the poor people. But this is the not the away to give up them. Please under estimate their caliber and worth. Please allow them to competate them freely with others. If they need money please provide the money instead of giving qouta in all. This is bad step in the modern world.
Please make them as a competitior and support finicially. If you do like these our huge people will suffer with their unsufficiant performance.

I'm an OBC candiate myself. I have a Post Graduate Degree in Computers and work in the UK. My entire family is well educated and economically "well to do".
Yet the kids of my generation continue to enjoy Reservation and have access to the best colleges and Universities purely based on their Caste. I've seen some of my brilliant friends left behind and in mediocre jobs just because they belonged to the so called "Forward-Caste".
I will ask political dirt like Arjun Singh to look at me now and look at my friends left behind because of their caste and tell me who is really Backward.
Give the backward castes all the concessions they want in terms of financial benefits, concessions for books, free bus passes for kids and leave it to their brains to do the rest of the work.
PLEASE DO NOT DIVIDE US ON THE BASIS OF CASTE.

He's mistaken to call himself and his so CALLED CABINET members SUPREME AUTHORITY. 'coz they are only supreme if we want them to be or else they are nothing but common people.. Have they forgotten what the constitution says: "It is BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE PEOPLE..' If yes then lets remind them of the fact. "WE CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE AND EFFORTS MADE FOR THE RIGHT CAUSE NEVER GO WASTE".. If we want a better tomorrow, we'll have to fight for it.. 'United We Stand and Divided they Fall.'

Mr.Arjun Singh and our honorable(or not so honorable) politicians need to understabd that they will die off someday soon(hopefully), and it will be the youth that will remain behind. if the reservation go on like this, OBC will soon have to include the general class people into itself and the current OBC's will become the future general class... votes are not as important as the future of the nation... and our politicians (who are the so called leaders of the counntry) need to understand it to the utmost depth... reservation is not the solution to bring the backward classes to forefront. rather, what needs to be done is that schools and colleges be set up in the remote ares of india, where it is actually needed...rather than catering repeatedly and uselessly to those who dont need reservations AT ALL...

these old power hungry thugs shd be hanged for their votes they do anything.I dont understand the point of reservation. If there shd be reservation than y cheating in exams and leaking of papers is illegal make legal that too. What about the common normal citizens who gave there everything to country in the name of soverginity and now they are being fked in the ass.All these SC/ST are the root cause of corruption. These are the ppl who havent seen anything in there life thnx too these reservation these kind of ppl get jobs and they start there corrupt practices in order to become millionaire without doing anything.I feel sad for normal service class ppl these kind of reservation will hit them hard.

i dont agree that Sc/St are the root cause of corruption. anyone can get prone to corruption, even me and you. so blaming the SC/ST for it will only mean giving air to the alreday burning fire of casteism and as a responsible and educated citizen, i am sure nobody would want to do that. So let us not end up getting caught in the baseless fights. rather let us find the root cause of all the chaos and fight our mindless politicians who call themselves the well wishers of our country and calling the youth the future leaders and yet working towards the votes and harming the youth with such ill considerate policies.

Thats really great discussion. Mr. Arjun Singh did not answer to a single question. He puts the blame on Parliament and happily forgets that he also represents The GREAT Indian Democratic PARLIAMENT. Arjun Singh just confirms how illeterate he is on facts. Hats off to Arjun Singh and the Condemnable Congress Party.

This is ridiculous. The most important thing stressed upon by our honourable minister is factless. Can we belive he is so ignorant about the facts and figures. He himself cannot justify his stand. Can we let this happen?

Man Our country can never be another France. The youth there threw it on the chirac's govt's face--the proposal to increase a young employee's tentative stage to 26 years. In short they showed him the finger. We donot have THE RECALL power in our country whence this filth. I believe these politicians responsible for this stuff should be ready for attempts on their lives in the near future and long after that if they survive Jai Hind--atleast the usage of these words are not reserved for any caste-based MFr
